Wildlands Art Residency was founded with a deep commitment to art, to the environment, and the synergy of each illuminating the other.
The retreat-like setting and beauty of the landscape offers artists a quiet place to focus on their work without the clutter of life, and to be responsive to the experience of spending time surrounded by nature. The founders wish to share their Sonoma County property in support of individual artists and the greater Bay Area arts community.
This year Wildlands will hold one three-week session for 3 selected artists from June 3rd - 25th. Please subscribe to our email list below to receive announcements about the 2017 application process.
Keith and Shunya Anding, both are architects who have been living and creating in Wildlands for the past 18 years. Their commitment to art and the environment led to the Art Residency Program which first launched in 2016.
Keith is a practicing architect in San Francisco. Shunya is now a wellness coach.
